Disk Scheduling

The disk arm must physically move to read data. Different algorithms minimize head movement to improve performance.

Getting Started

1. Add cylinder requests (or use the random button)

2. Set the head position and number of cylinders

3. Click "Calculate" to see the seek sequence visualization

4. Try different algorithms and compare total seek distance

Services requests in arrival order. Simple but often results in excessive head movement.
